After deciding on A NEW WORLD for the title of the third novel, it is now back in play, with my German and UK editors not sure about it. The feedback from this website has also been uncertain. My US editor is still keen so I’d welcome any more feedback from readers to help make the final decision. So far the comments have been very useful.

On that note, the first round of editing has been completed on the novel and I’m in the process of making the changes. I have two amazing editors in Suzanne and Mitch, at S & S UK at Grand Central Publishing, and the changes are very exciting. We’re still set for a publication date of Spring 2011, which also looks like being the publication date in Germany.

I’m sent lots of editions of CHILD 44 and THE SECRET SPEECH and so I’ve decided to give away some of these editions, signed, if readers submit some more video reviews to the website. I’d like to increase the range of feedback. Once again, there’s no rules about what you can say, you can make criticisms as well as talk about the things you like. I also have some audio editions if you’d prefer one of those. Just email me with a link to the video review and tell me which edition you’d like and I’ll get one to you in the post.

Finally I’ve just heard that Japan has now sold 310,000 copies of CHILD 44 in paperback. And after several months in the top twenty in German we’ve sold over 200,000 copies of the paperback. Amazing news.
